1. Neural Speech & Voice Input Handling
Say & Solve: SYNAPSE incorporates real-time neural speech recognition to evaluate spoken math equations, word answers, and puzzle solutions.

Ephemeral Audio Processing: Voice audio is converted into text tokens in real time. Audio recordings are never stored permanently on our servers and are discarded immediately after answer validation.

No Biometric Profiling or Data Sales: Spoken voice data is never used to construct vocal biometric profiles, harvest demographic data, or sell information to third-party advertisers.
Voice Privacy Guarantee: Audio captured during active gameplay sessions is processed strictly to recognize mathematical and word solutions and is never retained or repurposed.
2. Microphone Permissions & Access
Microphone access in Say & Solve: SYNAPSE is strictly opt-in and controlled by explicit system permission prompts.
- Microphone recording activates only when you tap the mic button or initiate a voice-enabled equation round.
- You may revoke microphone access at any time via your device's system settings under App Permissions > Microphone.
3. Information We Collect
We collect minimal necessary operational data to deliver cloud progress syncing, high score tracking, and crash diagnostics:

Optional Profile Credentials: Display name, email address, and authentication tokens when registering a cloud account via Firebase Auth or Google Sign-In.

Gameplay Statistics & High Scores: Level progression, equation solving speed, streak achievements, and leaderboard statistics stored in Firebase Firestore.

Device & Crash Diagnostics: App version, operating system, screen dimensions, and anonymous stack traces collected via Google Firebase Crashlytics to maintain application stability.
4. Children's Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Say & Solve: SYNAPSE is designed to be family-friendly and safe for users of all ages.
We adhere strictly to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. No targeted behavioral advertising or third-party tracking networks are integrated into child-directed versions of the application.
5. Data Storage & Security
All user data stored in Google Firebase cloud infrastructure is secured using enterprise-grade TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Strict Firebase Security Rules ensure that profile and progress records remain accessible solely to authenticated account owners.
6. Data Rights & Account Deletion
Under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and CalOPPA, you have full authority to request access to, export, or permanently delete your account data. You can delete your account directly inside the application under Settings > Account > Delete Account or by sending an email request to support@redplanetapps.com.
